dbt has a concept of freshness similar to Dagster. Similar to Dagster’s asset checks one can warn or error depending on the staleness of a source data, which is determined by the configured loaded_at_field.
A source’s freshness is not checked when dbt run occurs. Rather, you would use dbt source freshness.
